Wales Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (WICN)
For details about WICN public lectures, please see the Public Lecture section.
The Wales Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience (WICN) was established by a £5.2m grant from the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) to support the development of world-leading expertise in cognitive and clinical neuroscience within Wales at Bangor, Cardiff, and Swansea Universities.
The institute draws together the three psychology faculties, with investment in a shared management structure, administrative support, academic appointments, and visiting fellows.
Based on a well-established foundational structure, WICN continues to strive towards three major objectives within cognitive and clinical neuroscience: Education, Research and Outreach.
